Dries Van Noten launched his namesake label in 1986 which had collections of shirts, trousers and blazers. The label got success at its launch as it sold its products to prominent stores like Pauw, Barneys New York and Whistles. The same year, he opened a boutique in the gallery arcade of Antwerp. Here men’s and women’s collections which were sold. Same fabrics were initially used to make these collections. The brand saw the opening of more stores across the globe. The collections are ready-to-wear and are available at retail. None of the items are haute couture. The products use original fabrics, various colors and prints.
