We got a sneak peak at Italy’s street style looks from the Italian fashion capital on February 21-27 at Milan Fashion Week. There were plenty of overarching trends seen in Milan such as suiting, leopard print, and loads of pink. Moncler, slipped in front of Gucci for the season’s opening night spot. Both designers had collections to set the tone for this season’s fashion scene.
Like we said, Moncler cinched the opening night spot and this designer made everyone rethink their outerwear wardrobe. Moncler flooded the runway with an outstanding fashion forward down jacket. This unique jacket was designed with cropped styles, padded capes, and flared silhouettes. Moncler’s exquisite down jackets were layered and featured adorable color combinations as well as totally black and completely white ensembles.
One particular outfit we loved at Milan Fashion Week was a two piece all leopard print suit. Leopard print was a hit for both the runway and street style crowd from pencil skirts to cozy coats. This head to toe outfit was for a real courageous fashionista. If full leopard print is not your style, just pick a unique piece like a blazer or leopard print skirt and be looking like all the models at Milan Fashion Week 2018.
There is no denying that vivid color palettes were a hit and are going to continue to be big this year. Prada had show stopping pieces featuring bright shades like canary yellow, hot pink, and royal blues. As fashion lovers who delight in experimenting with the latest trends, we loved these bold, colorful outfits. From chic coats, suits, and heels these gorgeous colors are going to be taking over the whole fashion scene this season.
Last but not least, we cannot forget about Gucci at the 2018 Milan Fashion Week. Gucci definitely featured looks that were nothing less than spectacular, but one of our favorites were their loafers with a modern twist. Their new collection featured phenomenal reimaged loafers that can be worn to a formal event or even just on a casual day, with any combination of outfits. This is wonderful news for women who love looking like a million bucks in their shoes, but value comfort just as much! You won’t want to take Gucci’s new loafers off.
